Though it has been said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it doesn’t hurt to have some help with the latest fashion trends. Winter is always home to the greatest fashion trends of the year, and 2011-2012 is no different. Read on to get the scoop on the major trends that are hot this winter.

The biggest fashion trend that is being seen for winter 2011 is color. Winter typically brings a long a pallet of neutral colors including black, brown, blue, and cream. However this year brings about head to toe pastels, and pops of neon color, in every day looks. Long gone are the days of color only being appropriate for the warmer months.

Textures are another major influence on the runway. Whether it be silk, knit, sequins, fur or leather, textures are being mixed and match everywhere. Though it may be a little bit a little outrageous for a work outfit, mixing different textures can be a fun, outgoing look for a night out on the town in the city.

Another reemerging trend is a blast from the past, the 40′s. The knee length, high wasted skirt, scarf covered hats, and sleek silhouettes are combining full force with a modern twist. Throw in some sky high heels and you have a look that is high fashion meets urban chic.

Though many women want to wear the shortest mini skirt they can find, the hot look for winter 2011/2012 is midi and maxi in length. Though it may not seem to allude much sex appeal, a longer length skirt can be just as sexy as a shorter one and much more chic. Fashion is about what you wear, and the confidence in how well you wear it.

Though knit sweaters are a staple of every winter, not to mention they will keep you toasty warm, they are all over the runways this year. Chunky, long length knits in neutral colors go great over skirts, leggings, or even trousers.

Though there are many notable trends out this fall, the best trend to follow is one that you will look, feel, and be your best in.

Many quality designer brands exist throughout the world and the most prestigious maintain their spots at the top of the charts. Most design clothing and accessories for both men and women while others are gender specific, with products ranging from clothing, fragrances and jewelry to fashion accessories and furniture.

For men and women one of the most desired brands is Armani, a brand developed by Georgio Armani. one of Italy’s top fashion designers. Of their many designs Armani men’s and women’s business suits are known for their impeccable tailoring and tasteful design.

Another Italian designer Bottega Veneta, like Gucci, is now owned by the French company PPR, and designs both men’s and women’s wear. They also offer high quality eyewear, leather goods, furniture, handbags, shoes and luggage. Gucci is one of the most prominent fashion houses in the world and offers high fashion luxury clothing and classic garments.

The British Burberry brand has been around more than a century and it’s popular for clothing, fragrances and accessories. The company has a Burberry Equestrian Knight Logo trademark that identifies its products with its mark of enduring quality.

For women, native Venezuelan, Carolina Herrera creates distinctive women’s fashions and is noted for a quality bridal collection. The company is based in New York and also produces a collection of extraordinary fragrances. Chanel is a top French fashion design house that makes women’s ready to wear clothing and carries fine jewelry, watches, fragrances and fashion accessories. Donna Karan, a top designer in New York, heads an international company known for women’s designer clothing, bags, fragrances, shoes and accessories.
